Gabbys Cafe
About This Spot
Stepping into Gabby’s Cafe on Campbell Parade feels like settling into a familiar seaside retreat where the rhythm of Bondi Beach gently slows down time. It’s the kind of spot where mornings stretch out comfortably, inviting you to savor a moment away from the rush — the muted hum of conversation mingles with waves just out of sight, while the scent of fresh coffee and warm, indulgent breakfasts weaves through the air.
This café has the quiet charm of a neighborhood favorite that welcomes both locals and wanderers alike. Whether you’re slipping in after a refreshing coastal walk or winding down with friends, Gabby’s strikes a laid-back balance between casual and thoughtfully curated. The atmosphere leans into easygoing warmth, with staff who seem to remember faces and familiar orders, adding a gentle thread of connection that makes the visit feel personal.
The menu melds comforting brunch classics with subtle coastal flair — think of eggs Benedict lifted with smoked salmon, or gozlemes that have earned quiet fanfare for their simple, honest flavors. There’s a sense of unhurried simplicity to what’s offered, encouraging you to take your time over a coffee or an iced tea, maybe paired with a relaxed chat or a moment of ocean-breezed reflection.
Families find their spot here too, with dishes approachable enough for little ones and portions that feel generous yet unpretentious. It’s a place where the food supports the mood: hearty, satisfying, and designed to keep up with the unfolding day without ever demanding it move faster.
In essence, Gabby’s is a space to reconnect — with good food, friendly faces, and the easygoing spirit of Bondi itself. It’s that quiet promise of comfort after a seaside stroll or the steady presence that turns a simple breakfast outing into something warmly memorable.

My friend and I went here twice- once because we got really chilled sitting at the beach and got warm drinks and another time for our last day in Bondi Beach for breakfast. We got their gozleme (one of us got the banana/honey/cinnamon one and the other got their cheese/sausage one). It was a long wait for breakfast but was worth it. When we went for drinks, the lady remembered us from pizza the night before at the place next door they own. She gave us suggestions on where to visit and we chatted while she made our drinks. I would recommend going to them!

After our walk between Bronte beach and Bondi beach (2.5 km) we were welcomed at Gabbys cafe for lunch. We were interested by their menu because they proposed food our kids were ok to eat (you know how difficult it can be). And I must say we were not disappointed. The food was tasty and the kids ate it all which is to me a good indicator of the tastiness. Pay attention to the size of the dish which in some cases can be shared. The service was as expected.

Order 2-3 gozlemes from here (from uber eats) almost every weekend and they’re amazing and we can’t get enough of them. Wanted to leave a review here just because I see this cafe has such a low google rating and I don’t think it’s deserved I can’t speak for anything other than the gozlemes and the pancakes but both are amazing and would recommend them To anyone.
